During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. - Technical Assistance:

* A copy of the lead testing in water results were given to the LI. Please send all water testing plans and lead testing results to: leadtestingprogram@vdh.virginia.gov if you have not already.
* Discussion that for programs subject to national fingerprint background checks pursuant to ? 22.1-289.035 of the Code of Virginia, VDOE will be unable to continue to cover the cost of national fingerprint background checks beyond December 31, 2025. Effective January 1, 2026, child day programs and family day systems will be responsible for covering the cost of obtaining fingerprint-based background checks. Child day programs and family day systems are encouraged to plan for this change. When preparing for operating costs beyond December 2025, fingerprint fees for employees, applicants, agents, caregivers, approved providers in a family day system, and household members will be $59.00 per individual.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 07/31/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9 am and ended at 11:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were (48) children present and (11) staff. The inspector reviewed (5) children?s records and (13) staff records on-site on 07/31/2025.
This inspection included: document review (i.e. Files, injury logs - no IROMPTs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms); tour of the facility; interviews; and observations.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
