An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 07/08/2025 and completed on 07/08/2025 in response to a self-report received by the licensing office on 06/28/2025 relating to programs. The inspector reviewed 1 child records and 1 staff record on-site. This inspection included: document review, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-380-A-2 Description: Centers operating five or more hours per day shall have a designated rest period for at least one hour but no more than two hours. After the first 30 minutes, children not sleeping may engage in quiet activities.
On June 27, 2025 Child 1 (age 4 years) had been lying down not sleeping for about one hour during designated rest period and had not been offered quiet activities to engage in.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-400-B Description: Behavioral guidance shall be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate, and shall be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior and resolve conflicts.
