An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 07/31/2025 and completed on 07/31/2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:30 am and ended at 2:15 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 54 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records 5 staff records on-site on 07/31/2025.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Outside areas shall be maintained in a safe condition.
Two exposed nails were observed protruding from the bottom of the wooden fence structure surrounding the HVAC unit on the toddler playground. A cable type cord was observed on the sidewalk near the walk way used for entrance/exit to the outdoor play area.Plan of Correction: We have reached out to our maintenance man. The boards will be replaced no later than 8/29/2025.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-G Description: When food is brought from home, the following shall apply: The food container shall be clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
12 water bottle lacked any type of name label and 5 lunch containers were not dated or labeled in a way to identify the owner.Plan of Correction: This was corrected day of inspection. Reinforced the policy and it's importance.
