During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on August 21, 2025, and completed on August 21, 2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:40 am and ended at 2:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 20 children present and six staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Repeat
Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. 1 The plastic lattice lining the railing leading to the playground is broken in one area creating sharp edges that could snag the skin of a child. 2. A wooden fence picket is broken off at the top leaving a jagged edge that could snap the skin of a child in care.Plan of Correction: Per the director: we will have out maintenance repair or replace the area.
