An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on September 12, 2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 12:00pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 40 children present and seven staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-B Description: After the first license, annual approval from the health department shall be provided for meeting requirements for water supply and sewage disposal system.
The center did not obtain an annual environmental inspection. Documentation of the last environmental inspection was dated 11/28/2023.Plan of Correction: The local health department was contacted to schedule the annual environmental sanitation inspection at the time of the inspection. Moving forward, the center will ensure to have this inspection conducted annually.
