Staff who work directly with children shall complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff within 90 days of employment. Staff #1 who has been employed for approximately six months did not have documentation of a completed 3-hour Virginia Preservice training.Plan of Correction: Response from Director:
Staff is scheduled to complete training on 9/20/2025 collectively.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. The record for staff #3, staff #4 and staff #8 who has been working at the center for at least a year did not have documentation of a completed CPR training.
