An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 09/12/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:45 am and ended at 1:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 17 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. This inspection included a document review, tour of facility, interviews, observations and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The most recent criminal history search and central registry check for staff #2 was overdue by three months.Plan of Correction: Background checks have requested and scheduled.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
There was a light switch plate cover missing in the 3-4 year old room. Disposable nitrile gloves were on the bottom shelf of the changing table in the rest room. There was a hole in the window frame of the infant room.Plan of Correction: Director contacted maintenance and requested repairs during this inspection.
