An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 9/23/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:45 am and ended at 2:00 pm The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 81 children present and 19 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Bench cushion in child bathroom had tears along the edge.Plan of Correction: We will throw away today.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-P Description: The center shall maintain a written record of children's serious and minor injuries in which entries are made the day of occurrence.
The method of parent notification was missing on 3 of 4 accident reports.Plan of Correction: I will send an email reminder to staff.
