During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 9/30/2025. The on-site inspection began at 12:45 p.m. and ended at 1:45 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were ten children present and two staff. The inspector reviewed four children?s records and two staff records on-site.
This inspection included:

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 10/20/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A-8 Description: A written care plan is required for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Child A, who has been enrolled for one month, has a diagnosed food allergy and did not have a written care plan in their file.Plan of Correction: The family will receive a notice that a written allergy plan signed by their doctor needs to be returned to school within 30 days.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-530-A Description: At least one staff in each classroom or area where children are present shall have current certification in both CPR and first aid. Staff A and Staff B were alone with a group of ten, three-year-old children and were not certified in CPR or first aid. Plan of Correction: Staff will schedule CPR and First Aid classes to be recertified.
