Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, July 6, 2017. The on-site inspection was from 10:40 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On this date, there were 103 children in the care of 12 staff members and two staff members were available to assist if needed. There were a total of 126 children enrolled in the summer camp this week. There were no violations of the licensing standards observed on this date. There were ten children's records reviewed and the medication and medication paperwork were reviewed for four children. There were ten staff records reviewed on this date, six of which were new hires. The theme of the week was "Carnival Craze." Some items reviewed and observed included: swimming, transitions, indoor large motor games and activities, outdoor play, hand washing and bathroom procedures, lunch, dismissal procedures, nap time, evacuation drills, injury reports, sunscreen authorizations and application, current health and fire inspections, and water temperature.
