Comments:
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.


Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F
Description: Staff who work directly with children shall annually attend at least 16 hours of training and staff development activities, to include the department's health and safety update course.

Staff #1, Staff #3, Staff #4 and Staff #5 did not complete the deparment's health and safety course for 2025. Staff #1, Staff #3, Staff #4 and Staff #5 have been employed have been employed for more than four years.

Plan of Correction: We will ensure all staff complete the required training annually.
