An unannounced, on-site focused inspection was initiated on 1/12/26 and completed on 1/12/26. The on-site inspection began at 12:55pm and ended at 2:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 74 children present and 9 staff.
This inspection included: tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 1/26/26. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: REPEAT
Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
1) Room 2 had peeling paint accessible to children.
2) The preschool playground had peeling paint that had been spray painted over, but continues to peel.
3) There was a bubble on the preschool slide where a hole had been drilled into the middle of it, causing a possible entrapment hazard.

Where playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing shall comply with minimum safety standards.
