An unannounced inspection was initiated and completed on 01/22/2026 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 12/31/2025 relating to allegations of administration, staffing and supervisions, programs, and special services. Two inspectors were on site and no records were reviewed related to the complaint. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation(s); therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-F Complaint related: Yes Description: When centers choose to provide meals or snacks, the following shall apply: Centers shall follow the most recent, age-appropriate nutritional requirements of the Child and Adult Care Food Program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and must have a menu listing foods to be served for meals and snacks during the current one-week period.
For lunch, the center served three food components. Five food components are required for lunch.
The menu posted at the center was not current and from September 2025.Plan of Correction: Provider will serve the required amount of components and update the menu.
