1. Reviewed COVID-19 health + safety guidance, and discussed the additional measures the vendor is doing on a daily basis.
2. Inspector sent the vendor information to register for the annual training.

This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the daycare areas of the home.
An unannounced subsidy inspection was conducted on this date, and the vendor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There was 1 child present = 2 points with the vendor. The daycare was sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for children, and appeared clean and organized today. The vendor was sent a list of records to submit for review, and of the information gathered during the inspection it was determined there were areas of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-230-H Description: Based on interview conducted, it was determined that a required training was not completed by the due date of 3/1/20. Evidence: The provider reported that she did not take the Annual Virginia Health + Safety Training course. Plan of Correction: The provider will complete the training in the next 30-days, and keep the certificate in her records for verification.
Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-B-3 Description: Based on records reviewed and interview conducted, it was determined that a household member has not completed a criminal record check/fingerprinting (CRC) within 30-days of turning 18 years old. Evidence: Adult #3 turned 18 years old in June 2020, and to-date does not have a completed CRC. Plan of Correction: The vendor said Adult #3 will be fingerprinted this Friday, 12/18/20.
