An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 02/06/2026 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records.This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe condition. Parts of the vinyl flooring in the Wonder Kids room was torn, Plan of Correction: The director will talk with the owners about the flooring and will ensure that it is replaced or covered in such a way that it is not a hazard to the children in care.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-550-G Description: The center shall maintain documentation of emergency drills. . The center had 1 shelter-in-place drill documented in 2025; two are required. Plan of Correction: The director will ensure that 2 shelter-in-place drills are practiced and documented in 2026.
