Comments:
This annual subsidy inspection was conducted by the inspector using an alternate remote protocol necessary due to a state of emergency declared by the Governor of Virginia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Preliminary data was obtained from the vendor on February 22, 2021and
an annual subsidy inspection was completed on the same day. The vendor was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection, and concluded on February 22, 2021. The inspector told the vendor a list of items required to complete the inspection and the children enrolled and present are the same from last year.
The vendor reported there were 3 children in care and 0 children living in the home under the age of 12 present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed the children?s records and household member's animal report by video. The vendor sent attendance for one month and CPR card via text to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for
Child Care programs and she showed the PPE stored in her home. Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-240-A
Description: Based on observation, it was determined that an area of the home was not in a clean and safe condition.
Evidence:
1. Room used by children had materials and supplies stacked up on top of each other and on shelves/furniture that posed a potential falling over hazard.

Plan of Correction: I have been working on that room to clear and put items back. Also, husband will be building out soon to make room larger.
