An annual RECDC inspection was conducted on today's date. The center has 31 children in care with 5 classroom staff. All groupings are in ratio. The center has rooms with lots of space and supplies for the children to explore. Observed the children doing science and art, napping and having snack. The children are spending lots of time on the playground today because of the great weather. Today's afternoon snack is oranges. For lunch the children bring their lunch from home. Interaction between staff and children observed in all the groupings. Discussed the possibility of being licensed, might be something they will do in the future. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on the review of 7 records , the center failed to get central registry checks for two out of 7 staff. Evidence: Staff B and D are missing the CPS checks. Plan of Correction: We can not locate the CPS checks and will resubmit them for the two staff.
