An unannounced inspection was conducted from 11- 12:35. The Program had 6 groups present today. There were 68 children with 12 staff actively supervising and the Director and Athletics Teacher were also present. The rooms were all observed which included the lower level and storage space. The program had a variety of equipment available for the children and staff were friendly and informative about children in care. The administrative portion of the program was also reviewed and the Inspector noted that every written disclosure was reviewed and the programs procedures were also in written form. Ratios and supervision were also reviewed and in compliance. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on record review, it was determined two staff did not have documentation of current search of central registry. Evidence; 1. Staff # 16, who has been employed for more then 30 days, had a filled out search but documentation demonstrated it was returned to the program with a box checked stating an item was not completely filled out. 2. Staff # 11 had a CPS check that was over 5 years old and had not been repeated. Plan of Correction: We will have each staff member fill out again and send in next week. We did not realize the one had just expired and the other form was a misunderstanding on that we thought it had been completed.
