An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30 am- 11;30am . There were 34 children ages 2.5 to 5 years old directly supervised by 7 staff. Ratios and supervision were found to be in compliance. A sample of 3 staff records, written policies and procedures as well as trainings for CPR/First Aid, daily health observations and mandated reporter training were also reviewed. The children were observed: conducting science experiments outside, playing on the playground and reading in circle time. Today was early dismissal for pass over. Hand washing/ diapering and potty routines were also observed and reviewed. The program also has MAT training and policies and procedures in place for children with severe allergies and cross-contamination.
