An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:45 am - 12:15 pm. There were 27 children directly supervised by 6 staff on site. Ratios and supervision were found to be in compliance. A sample of staff background checks, health forms and written policies and procedures were reviewed. Staff were trained on Daily health observation, mandated reporter training for child abuse and neglect and first aid / CPR. Staff also had MAT training ( medication administration training). Hand washing and diapering procedures were also discussed. Children were observed: at parent drop off, participating in center activities including dramatic play, painting, sensory table time and playing in a tent for "Camping/ Nature " theme week.
