An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:15am- 11:00 am. There were 48 children ages 2 1/2 - 5 years old directly supervised by 10 staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. A sample of staff background searches, health records and trainings were discussed and reviewed. The physical plant as well as program policies regarding hand washing, arrival and departure procedures and activities were also inspected and reviewed. Children were observed: arriving into care at parent drop off/ kiss and ride line, singing songs in circle time, practicing writing numbers and preparing to go outside.
