An unannounced inspection of a RECDC was conducted from 10:00 -12:15. The Program had 39 children present with 6 staff and the administrative team. Activities observed included hand washing and outside play. The Inspector was able to view the classrooms, and the extended day space. Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-2 Description: Based on discussion and record review, it was determined the program had not obtained search of the central registry by the end of the 30 th day of employment for each employee. Evidence: 1. 10 staff have been employed for the school year and staff stated they had not filled out and sent down the clearance requests for the staff. Plan of Correction: Inspector printed up the required form and we will have all staff complete and send all the clearances out by the end of tomorrow.
