A complaint regarding the physical plant was investigated at this date. After reviewing all the available fact , the preponderance of evidence makes this a founded complaint. A violation notice has been issued and the center has given a corrective action. The ongoing compliance with the standards is the responsibility of the licensee. The center had issues with the air condition after the church was hit by lightening this summer. This was also reported in this complaint , but there are no requirements for centers to have air conditioning. The air conditioning is working at this time and fans are in the rooms. Discussed the issues with air conditioning with the school administrator. This inspection was started at 12:30 and ended at 1:30. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-610-A Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on the review of the playground, the center failed to maintain the play structure in an operable condition. Evidence: Several boards on the climbing structure are rotten and bolts are exposed where one of the boards are falling away. Plan of Correction: We will keep the children off that part of the play structure and we will send in a maintenance request and fix the structure, replacing the rotten boards.
