Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00 am- 11:45 am. There were 2 children directly under the care of 1 staff member. The children were playing ball, showed the inspector around their classroom, played in their pet hospital helping sick animals and showed the inspector how they washed their hands and ate snack and lunch. The center was well supplied with age appropriate activities and the interactions were warm and caring. The director of the program had prepared documents for parents that met compliance with all disclosures including public liability insurance, teacher qualifications and total capacity. Staff was first aid and CPR certified and trained mandated reporters. If there are any questions regarding this inspection please contact kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov
