An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today from 10:15 am-12:15 pm. There were 19 children directly supervised by 5 staff at the time of the inspection. The children were observed participating in a visit by the Fairfax County Fire Department. Staff records, posted documents and classrooms were inspected. Policies and procedures and hand washing routines were also discussed. If there are any questions regarding this inspection please contact kelly.savittiere@dss.virginia.gov

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1716-A-6 Description: Based upon records reviewed and interview, required center operational policies were not available to the general public. Evidence: The center did not have public liability insurance disclosure posted for parents as required. Plan of Correction: Language was updated in parent handbook during the inspection. Parents will receive a copy this week.
