1. Reviewed requirements for public school personnel to have documentation of completed background checks.

10:00am-12:10pm Unannounced religious exempt inspection conducted of the preschool program. Observed 38 children + 8 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were engaged in a variety of activities, to include: music, dramatic play, and circle-time. Classrooms were found to be very clean, safeguarded appropriately, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The outdoor playground area was found to be well maintained. All staff have been trained in First Aid, CPR, mandated reporting of child abuse and neglect, and daily health screening. Policies, procedures, and staff background checks were found to be in compliance with State regulations. Administrative recordkeeping was well maintained.
