An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today. Observed 2 children (6 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver/ vendor. Ratio and supervision were in compliance. The children were engaged in various activities, to include: free play, nap time, and dancing to music.. The exit interview was conducted with the Provider. Inspection conducted 12:10 pm to 11:20 pm. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-012-B Description: Based upon record review, within the first 90 days of employment or service the vendor did not complete Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Social Services. Evidence: As of the date of inspection (8/30/2017) vendor had not completed required training that was due 4/1/2017. Plan of Correction: Vendor enrolled in Pre-Service training at the time of inspection and will complete as soon as possible.
