This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced religious exempt program inspection was initiated on February 5, 2021, and concluded on February 12, 2021, approximately from 10:28 am to 11:30 am.
Observed 37 children + 7 direct-care staff in the preschool program. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed eating snack, individual art activities, and group activity. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature .
Policies, procedures, and practices reviewed. Met with the Principal. Staff training requirements were met. Background checks were in compliance.
