- Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included record keeping.
An unannounced monitoring inspection took place today from 1:20 - 3:15 pm. There were 11 children present with the provider and two assistants for 29 points. I observed naptime and a smooth transition to waking up, washing, listening to a story, watching a video of children's music and interacting with the video; and beginning snack time. Areas have been rearranged into learning centers, with a wide variety of inviting materials for children. The crib room has been changed into a classroom for art and other sit down activities. The outdoor areas were not inspected due to snow cover. The provider was awarded her CDA credential in January. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org Please note: My phone number has been changed to 703 304-9609. The main office number remains 703 934-1505.
