54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:30 am - 11:50 am. There were 8 children in care with the provider ages 3 years, 3 years, 4 years, 4 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, and 8 years for a total of 13 points. The children were observed in free play and art projects. Lunch served today is turkey sandwich, grapes, cucumbers, and milk. The most recent fire drill was conducted 6/9/15 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 2/14/15. The provider, two household members, and 2 pet records were reviewed and in compliance. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider is current in CPR, First Aid, MAT (Medication Administration Training). The provider is not currently administering medications to children in care.
