54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. There were seven children in care with the provider ages 7 months, 17 months, 2 years, 3 years, 3 years, 3 years, and 5 years for a total of 16 months. The children were observed in outdoor play and crafts. Lunch served today is spaghetti, mixed veggies, watermelon, bread stick, and milk. Seven children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider and two household member records were reviewed. The most recent fire drill was conducted 12/18/2015 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 11/2/2015. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather band radio were reviewed and in compliance. The provider is current in CPR, First Aid and MAT (Medication Administration Training). Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on record review of two household members it was determined that not all household members repeated a Tuberculosis (TB) screening every two years. Evidence: The most recent TB screening on file for household member A was dated 11/13/2013. Plan of Correction: Household member A will obtain a TB screening and submit the results to the provider.
