Comments:
An unannounced "other" inspection was conducted on this date. Licensing inspector reviewed nutrition, emergencies, care of children, administration, physical environment and equipment, household members and background checks. Areas of noncompliance are identified on the violation notice. All violations from the previous inspection have been corrected.

Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-900-B
Description: Based on observation and inspection of the family day home, the provider did not ensure that children shall not be allowed to eat or drink while walking, running, playing, lying down, or riding in vehicles. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on January 22, 2016, the licensing inspector observed a male child walking around while drinking from a cup.

Plan of Correction: All children must remain sitting while drinking.
