An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 2nd 2016 between 10:30am and 11:45am. There were 6 children and a provider's child (18 points) in the direct care of 3 staff persons. Children were observed having lunch (chicken nuggets, apples, bread, and milk), washing their hands, using the rest room, playing with cars, trucks, and dolls. The home has 2 new staff members that were very engaged with the children. A sampling of staff and children's records, medication administration, supervision, and the physical space were observed and inspected. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
