Discussed the training hours needed every year, 16 hours are required.
The provider is present with 4 children in care and her own child, A total of 7 points today for this renewal visit. The children are playing and doing homework. The snack today was honey maid cracker and milk. The provider has lots of toys for the children to play with and a large open space. several interest areas are set up. Interaction between children and the provider was observed during the visit. This visit was started at 4:20 and ended at 5:10
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-B Description: The provider failed to conduct any shelter in place drills in the last licensing year. Evidence: Based on interview with the provider she di not conduct any shelter in place drills. Plan of Correction: I will make sure we have shelter in place drills twice a year.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-30-A Description: The provider has two child attending who is over the age limit of the license. Evidence: A 12 year old attends the program in the morning and an 11 year old is on care during this visit. Plan of Correction: I would like to modify the age range on my license to 3 years to 12 years.
