An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today by the licensing inspector. The licensee was present with two family children and one child was in care at the onset of the inspection. By the conclusion of the inspection, there were 3 family children and two other children in care for a total of 5 points. Transportation is not provided and medication is not administered.
The children had snack which consisted of watermelon, crackers and milk. There are no children in care requiring diapering.
The landline base phone is in the bedroom. The licensee participates in the USDA food program.

The schoolage children did their homework, played a video game and a basketball game, ate snack and talked about their day at school and upcoming spring break. There is a variety of materials for the children in care. The outdoor violations have been corrected as have children's record violations. Local zoning allows no more than 5 children in care without a special use permit.

The smoke detector battery was "tweeting" indicating it needs to be changed. You agreed to obtain new batteries tonight.

Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not have an up to date attendance sheet.
Evidence: At the onset of the inspection, one child was in care. The licensee had not signed in the child on the attendance form.

Description: Based on observation, the licensee had not posted the most recent inspection reports. Evidence: The most recent violation notice and inspection summary were not posted (from the January inspection).
