54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:20am-12:30pm. There were 8 children(22 points) directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing outside. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Evidence: The CPR certification observed for the provider expired April4, 2016 and current certification had not been obtained. Plan of Correction: I already signed up for a class this Saturday.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-c Description: Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a current search of central registry (CPS) check before three years since the dates of the previous checks for a caregiver. Evidence: 1. The most recent search of central registry (CPS) observed for Caregiver A was last completed on December 21, 2012 and expired on December 21, 2015. Plan of Correction: I've already mailed the form and called yesterday. They said it has been mailed. I should receive it today or tomorrow.
