54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An announced Initial inspection was conducted today. There are currently no children in care. 4 adult files were reviewed. All required background documents are on file and in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based upon a review of the first aid supplies, the first aid kit is incomplete. Evidence: Missing items include; digital thermometer and a second triangular bandage. Plan of Correction: I will buy a new thermometer and a second bandage.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-A Description: Based upon direct observation, small appliances were plugged in while not in use.
A toaster oven and water heater (pot) were plugged in, in the kitchen of the home while not in use.
Plan of Correction: Unplugged during the inspection. I will remind everyone to keep them unplugged when not in use.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-D Description: Based upon direct observation, the diapering pad available is not waterproof. Evidence: There are holes in the pad surface exposing the absorbent padding. Plan of Correction: I will buy a new pad.
