- Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance today included safety procedures when cooking with a pressure cooker when children are present. We also discussed checking only one box on the Medication Administration Form, and new training opportunities available online.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was present today from 11 am - 1:15 pm. There were 8 children present at the beginning of the inspection with the provider and two assistants for 26 points. I observed children involved in role-playing in the housekeeping area, making and selling pretend hamburgers; playing with puzzles, looking at books, finishing lunch and beginning naptime. The staff has already taken over 17 hours of training in 2016. If you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights.
