54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/11/2016 from 9:45 am - 10:45 am . There were 5 children present observed with the provider. The children were observed in a variety of activities to include: free play, personal hygiene routines and doing work sheets. The children were discussing that it was a friend's birthday and that they would be having a pineapple to celebrate. A family arrived during the inspection to observe the program. The following areas were inspected during today?s visit: physical environment, emergency preparedness plan, emergency drills, records ( children and caregiver) emergency supplies and posted documents. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based upon records reviewed, required monthly drills were not completed. Evidence: There were no drills on record for February and March 2016. Plan of Correction: Provider will make sure to complete monthly emergency drills and document as required.
