- Technical Assistance:
Provider and assistant are scheduled for repeat TB Screenings and these screenings will be conducted on or before the 2 years expiration date.
An unannounced morning inspection has been conducted today. There were 8 children present with 2 caregivers for a total of 19 points. The Provider and assistant have training documents from a variety of training programs and the paper work viewed for home, children, and pets were accessible for review. The Caregivers were observed feeding the infants and playing with the older children during the inspection and the children were talkative about their activities. The home was checked and the Inspector commented on the variety of supplies available for the different age groups. Hand washing and diapering were also observed. Please call questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on record review, monthly evacuation drills are not recorded. June's drill is not on the monthly drill record which is posted on the parent's board. Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observation, not all of the infant's bottles are labeled with the child's full name and dated. Plan of Correction: Corrected during the visit.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review of two children's files, the Provider has not maintained completed records as child #2's record is missing the immunization and physical record. Plan of Correction: I have misplaced this document and this child is my assistant's child and we have requested a new one from the Doctor.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review and staff interviews, the assistant's documentation of annual training is short by two hours. The file has 14 hours of documented training but the caregivers stated the assistnat has attended another 6 hours but has not brought the copy of the certificate. Plan of Correction: Assistant stated she would bring a copy of the training.
