An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 5 children, totaling 18 points. The children were observed playing toys, interacting with each caregiver, and preparing for lunch. The provider was serving macaroni and cheese, sliced grapes, wheat bread, corn, and milk for lunch today. The provider recently renovated the space used for child care, and incorporated a new and large variety of toys and materials. This inspection was completed between approximately 11:00 am and 12:15 pm. Thank you for meeting with me today. If you have any questions regarding this inspection please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on a review of children's records, it was determined that one record was not complete. Evidence: Child record #2 does not include a physical exam report. Plan of Correction: I have asked the parent many times for the child's physical. The parent has to wait until their new insurance goes into effect. I will make sure the parent provides a physical report.
