63.2 Liability Insurance Disclosure
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. Nine children, plus two resident children, were present with the provider and assistant. Total 19 points with two caregivers. The younger children were eating lunch and getting ready for rest time. The school age children were working on a craft activity with beads. No new children have started in care since the last inspection. The provider has added a fish pond in her back yard. Even though the children do not play in the back yard and it is enclosed, please ensure they do not have any access to the fish pond. The provider continues to use the playground next to the home for outdoor play. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 703-479-4709.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on record review and provider interview, there was no documentation found that emergency evacuation drills were conducted in February, March or April 2016. Plan of Correction: Emergency evacuation drills will be conducted monthly and documented.
