Discusssed zoning approval from Fairfax County which granted approval for maximum capacity of 12 children. Explained licensing process of substantiating adequate space for children in care. Discussed point system and the potential need to increase staff in the future when licensed capacity is increased.
Met with Marcela Munoz today for the purpose of determining the need for a modification of the current licensed capacity of 5 children. Provider received approval from Fairfax County for a maximum capacity of 12 children. Inspector evaluated space designated for use of operation and determined that although zoning has approved a maximum of 12 children, an increase in licensed capacity from 5 children to 10 children would be recommended at this time, given the space designated for operation. Provider in agreement. Previous violations from the last inspection in September 2016 were reviewed and determined in compliance. A total of 3 children in care today with Provider for a total of 10 points. Inspection arrival time was 9:15am and ended at 10:30am.
