1. Reviewed requirements for cribs to be free of toys when children are napping.
Conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection 12:40-1:50pm. Observed 4 children = 12 points with the Provider. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The Provider was attentive to the needs of the children, and demonstrated patience when instructions were not followed. Children were observed finishing their lunch, having indoor free-play, having story-time, being diapered, and lying down for nap time. The home was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Lunch served: spaghetti with tomato sauce and ground beef, spinach, and milk. Required documents were posted. Record keeping violations found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to: email@example.com
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on records reviewed, it was determined that the Provider and an adult living in the home did not have a TB screening completed every 2 years. Evidence: The TB tests for both expired in October 2016. Plan of Correction: Contacting medical provider to schedule test for the end of December 2016.
