54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring 60 day inspection was conducted today from 2:00pm-3:00pm. There were 4 children(16 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1 staff records, 4 children?s records, household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on record review, an emergency evacuation drill was not practiced one month. Evidence: Upon review of the emergency drill records, a November drill was not undocumented and not conducted per the provider for the month of November Plan of Correction: We will conduct monthly drills going forward.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A Description: Based on record review, the provider did not keep a written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: There was no attendance record completed for the day. Plan of Correction: The provider completed an attendance sheet on the date of inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-B Description: Based on observation, not all electrical outlets were covered with child-resistant protective covers. Evidence: There were 3 electrical outlets uncovered at the time of the visit, one located by the bathroom, one located behind a crib and one outlet by the front door. Plan of Correction: The provider placed child resistant protective covers in the outlet on the date of inspection.
