An unannounced inspection for license renewal was conducted today. Six children were present with two assistants when the inspector arrived. Total 20 points with two caregivers. The provider returned home a short time after the inspector arrived. The children were being fed, having floor play time and getting ready for nap. One assistant is new since the last inspection. Her record was reviewed and found complete. One new child has been enrolled since the last inspection. Her record was reviewed and also found complete. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on record review, it was found that the TB screening report for one assistant was dated 1/3/2014, which is over two years old. Plan of Correction: The assistant will obtain an updated TB screening report.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on record review and provider interview, it was found that the provider and one assistant did not obtain the required 16 hours of training in the past year. Plan of Correction: The provider and assistant are scheduled to attend training in the next couple of months.
