An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 12:35pm-1:55pm. There were 6 children(13 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating lunch of meatballs, peas, bread apples and milk. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on review of children's record all required information was not maintained. Evidence: During inspection child #1 was missing: 2 of 2 emergency contacts, completed policy for medication administration and signed provider agreements. Child # 3 was missing: 2 of 2 emergency contacts Plan of Correction: I will talk with parents today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280 Description: Based on inspection of Family Day Home cleaning agents were not inaccessible to children. Evidence: During inspection cleaning supplies were in an unlocked cabinet under the sink in a bathroom used by children in care. Plan of Correction: Provider corrected during inspection
