Technical Assistance:
As discussed, please forward a copy of your zoning permit from Loudoun County approving a total of 12 children.

Today an unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with Provider. This visit took place in the morning between 9:15am and 11:20am. There were 11 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 32 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed completing puzzles at the table, observation of parent drop off, transitioning to the downstairs area for free play time and some children taking morning naps. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant to include the outdoor play area, 11 children and 2 staff records, one household member record, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C
Description: Based on review of records documentation of emergency drills were not maintained. Evidence: No shelter in place drills were conducted over the past year. Two shelter in place drills are required annually.

Plan of Correction: Provider will begin using the state form that has the shelter in place requirement at the bottom

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-G
Description: Based on review of provider's records an annual inspection was not completed. Evidence: Provider did not have an annual fire inspection on the fireplace.

Plan of Correction: Provider will schedule fireplace inspection.
