VENDHOM-000 Special Care Provisions & Emergencies
An unannounced annual subsidy inspection was completed with the monitoring inspection for licensing on 3/24/17.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-004-F Description: Based on observation and interview, the provider failed to ensure that allergy and dietary restriction information was posted or immediately accessible to the provider. Evidence: 1. The provider did not have any posted allergy information. The provider stated that none of the children had allergies. After review of eight children's records, there was one child with multiple food allergies documented by the child's physician. There was one child with a food allergy documented by the parent but not documented by a physician. Plan of Correction: The provider will post these in an area available to the provider.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5 Description: Based on review of records and interview with the provider, the provider failed to ensure that there were lock down procedures written as a part of the emergency plans. Evidence: 1.The provider stated that she did not have a written lock down plan. Plan of Correction: The provider stated that the doors at the home remain locked at all times. The provider will document this as the plan for lock down.
