- Technical Assistance:
Provider has moved since the last inspection. Documents were given to the provider to request a modification of license to change the location of the family day home.
An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today from 12:09pm-1:150pm. There were 5 children(12 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating reading. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-520-C Description: Based on observation and provider statement, the cribs in use at the family day home could not be confirmed to be compliant. Evidence: The two cribs in use did not have a date of manufacture date on the crib, nor could a certificate of compliance be produced to confirm they are compliant.
